About 32 inches wide between the wheel wells. Max height is just over 17 inches, but you need to account for the stablizer beams that open and close the trunk. Unless you are one of the few that ripped those suckers out. Depth is tricky. I don't know how deep it can be and still get through the opening. I know that 22 inches is definitely too deep because I have a box about that deep and need to pull the rear seat to slide it into the trunk. Post a more specific question to get better answers. I'll be in my trunk in a few hours if the weather is good.

hey thanks for the replies, to be a bit more specific, i was thinking of putting my box (dimensions are 27wide, 13deep, 16high)as close to the lid of the trunk as possible, trunk space doesn't matter to me. do you think it would fit nice? peace.

The 16 inch height might interfere with the bars that open and close the trunk. Only way to see for sure is to try it.
