about to blow my 3rd bose speaker in my max, what pieces of crap. however, i do really enjoy the way they sound. so my question is: whats a good alternative to the bose that will give me great sound. i was thinking about an infinity kappa component for the front speakers but i'm not really sure about what to put in the back. any1 got any ideas? thanks

 

rear speakers are just for rear fill, so you don't really need anything fancy. You want the sound to come mainly from the front.

 

I GOT ALPINE TYPE R's ALL AROUND, OVERSIZED 6 1/2 COMPONENTS IN FRONT, COAXIALS IN THE BACK, THERE NOT SUPER LOUD BUT VERY CLEAR.

 

i want interior speakers that give good bass and hit hard like the bose do, does anyone know whats good for that?

 

the alpines hit hard, especially when you have an amplifier running them.

I was able to sell off my whole stock bose system (head unit, cd changer, and 4 speakers) for $422 total on ebay. so if they're still good, you may as well sell em if you're planning on going aftermarket.

 

as a result of replacing all the speakers in my car i have 2 rear bose speakers that are in perfect condition and one front speaker without the amplifier, the rear have the amps.
