Siren with Backup Battery
Just do a search on google. Here are a few I found:

It's my fault
that I wasn't more specific. I have a 2003 SE. I understand the hood can be opened easily, the battery disconnected, and the HID's stolen easily. So I plan to hookup a second hood switch, and also a siren that has an internal backup battery such as a DEI Revenger or a Olimex SRB100 to the factory alarm as a way around the problem. According to my ESM, gnd is supplied intermittently, so I plan to connect the siren trigger to that point, but I need to make sure that I am able to get a siren that has a pulsed negative trigger. I think the Olimex will work, but I don't know about the revenger. If anyone has done this, please advise.
No problem, worst case scenario is that you have to wire a relay to reverse the polarity if the trigger. Most of the battery backup sirens have both a positive or negative trigger because they are sold as ad ons even to other brand alarms.
