Re: Someone EXPLAIN the difference between 2-channel, 4-channel, multi, & mono Amps?

2-channel amps will drive 2 speakers (channels). 4-channel amps will drive 4. A "multi" channel amp is just another way of saying it's an amp with more than 2 channels. A mono amp specifically has one channel, primarily used in subwoofer applications.

This just barely touched the surface of amp education. For more info, check out this site for more info. Click on the "components" link.

damn no shiz. I'm guessing someone did all the install and stuff for you..? btw multi channel often means it has 4 channels for speakers and one mono channel to drive a sub (this channel is usually not really powerful enough, and will only push one sub nicely (tho not your w7)
