Replacing HU with Bose system....

Hello,

I was just wondering if I need a special adapter to replace my Bose HU with an aftermarket one? The reason for doing this is that I really want an MP3 player, plus I think my subs will sound better too. Will this work or not? Thanks for the help!

if you are keeping your bose speakers, all you need is wiring harness and antenna adapter. you can buy both at best buy for around 30 bucks for both. although i highly suggest you change your bose speakers if you are installing new hu.

Right now I am just concerned about swapping the HU because everytime the Bass hits on an FM station I get a background fuzz at high volume. So will the Bose speakers sound "better" than with the stock HU? Thanks again!
