Help me decide.
I'll run the max RMS. I have a 150w x 2 at 4 ohm amp so I can turn the gains down for the Perfects or run the Polk's at their RMS without any adjustment.

There are so many good speakers these days that you will never be able to listen to them all. What type of sound are you looking for? Be specific for midbass, midrange, mid-high and treble. Also remember that no matter what you get the install is more important than the speakers.

I'm looking for an all around good sound.

How can the install affect how the speakers sound? I know some tweeters can be rotated, but other than that, what else does install have to do with it?

Aiming for one. Next is the enclosed or non-enclosed mid. Aiming of the mid and tweet is critical primarilly to the vocal range, or the mid range. Secondarily the treble but that is a close second and changing the tweet angle will greatly affect the timber of the stage. Of course the tweeter in question and the size of the tweeter also affects this.

So what components do you recommend?

And where did you Boston ProSeries 6.5 guys buy your stuff? I'm interested in them but they aren't listed on Ebay like the others.

Like I said, the install is more important than the component used for the most part. Need more treble, aim the tweet more toward the driver. Need more midbass, focus on the mid enclosure. I am happier with the $80 retail mids I have now than I was with the DA HEX mids I took out. Of course it's apples to oranges as I am useing tweets that retail for over $200/each.

I'll sell you my MBQuart QM218.61Q's for $250 and I'll pay the shipping. These are AWESOME speakers and are a step above all the others you mentioned. They have very light use on them, email me at drewhfarrar@aol.com if you are interested.
