Lynx Alarm

Has anyone heard of a Lynx brand alarm? I've done a search, but was unable to find much info. Just curious about the quality and claimed range. It runs for around $200 not installed. I'm looking for something with good range. If the quality is good, I may take a chance because of the claimed up to 2 mile range, but at $200 it approaches the Compustar, DEI, and higher end Autopage brands. Compustar seems to have the best range out of these 3 brands, but some members have questioned the quality and reliability. Thanks!

The Lynx 2000 is an awesome alarm. That's 2nd on my list...compustar being 1st cuz of repuation. Lynx is very popular overseas. 2mile range is only w/the international ver, which i only found on ebay. And it's super far. I saw it in action when I visted PME (www.pme.com) who is the manufacturer.

If you want more info, ask in the security forum at www.the12volt.com. That's where I got most of my questions answered. They also kno about the compustar, autopage and DEI.
