Hi, I did a search and didn't find this.

I have a 2000 GLE, I want to know if the factory BOSE HU from a 2002 Max with in dash 6 disc will drop right in the place of my current BOSE? Do all the brackets and harnesses match?

What year BOSE systems willl interchange with 2000 (I thought 99-03 were the same but I'm not totally sure)?

I am fairly sure this is right... You can plug a bose unit from a 2k2 or 2k3 into a 2000. You will be able to use all the features except SCV. This is for when u accelerate, it will turn the volume up. But other than that it should work like a charm
