wattage handling when wired in parallel

i got a pair of RF HEs, 200 rms, 400 max. they're currently wired into my amp to see a 4 ohm load per channel.

My question is, if i wire them in parallel, will that mean my subs will able to handdle 400 watts rms (since each is 200 rms) ? I was thinking about getting a nice mono amp to push them, but i just want to get this confusion out of the way first. Thanks for any input.

They claim 800 Watts peak, or it equates to 400RMS. It does not matter if it is 2 or 4 ohms. Yeah you can definately go with a Mono amp on these subs.

Yes, you will be fine. For example, since you like RF, you could use a Power 501bd to push those subs for 500w at 2 ohm.
