adding sub to stock bose system

i did a search and read what it said in the FAQ section abotu adding a sub to a stock bose system. it said that you can do it with the right converter but that it would not be in sequence with the rest of the system or that the sub would just not sound right. am i reading this in that the beats from the sub will be off from the beats from the speakers?

Let me tell you, I just hada a high quality adjustable line level output installed last night with my non-bose system and I am absoutley blown away!!. I have had all kinds of different stereo set ups in the past and this compares quite well with them.
The line output is made by Soundgate and it is called a LOCSUBA
It give you a 3db gain, includes an internal crossover and a volum **** so to speak. ( you can crank up the boom or tonne it down if the wife is in the car )and the whole thing fits in the palm of your hand. I picked it up for $150 Canadain.
People told me I was nuts doing this, that the nissan stock deck was crap!!!, but let me tell you when the hear this thing thump, they will S@#t thier pants.
Here is what I hooked up. ( very simple really )
The converter, 1 12inch sub in a box, and a JBL 300.1 amp.
This set up is everything I am ever going to need.

Take this as just my experiance but if you are short on cash and want an awesome sounding system with loads of thump, go for it.

Let me know if you have other questions

PAC also sells the AOEM-NIS1 to add an external amp to the factory Bose system....

If you are on a budget, starting with a sub upgrade is not a bad way to go as long as the factory speakers are not blown.....

Then you are good to go. If you like it, that's what counts....

With the PAC AOEM-NIS2, I can guarentee that you will be happy with the sub. It will make you want better mids though.
