Bad recordings

Can someone suggest some overall good components that aren't as effected by bad recordings. I heard some boston pro's and you could really tell that the quality of the recording was bad.

The reason I ask is cause i'm looking to upgrade my components and half of my music collection are ripped mp3 audio.

The better the overall sound quality of the system the more likely you will be to hear errors in the recording. That's why some of us are more particular about what we listen to in the car or home. The computer processor and fan are notoriously loud. I can hear a definite difference between somthing copied from my PC and something dubbed directly from another CD. Switching to a newer MP3 algorithm may also help.

Ditch the fake crap and get the real deal in audio or rip at higher bit rates at least. A good system will bring out the crap recordings of mp3s, hence my strong dislike of mp3s in my ride
