2 fully loaded FI car audio BTL 18's(i heard these at a show and fell in love, the guy had 1 with about 1100wrms and waas louder than me with my HDC3 12's and more than double that power!) on 2 crunch gp3000d's @ .5 but im broke right now for the amps so i have to use my hk401sx until my birthday or so..i guess

FYI i hope this is loud as i want it to be because if not i may to try 6 15's, 10 12's, 14 10's all ported of course hell i may even do 20 10's sealed in a calm shell..and these extreme builds will have to be after college...

Aweome. Have you ever thought about getting a more efficient sub until you can get done with school? It may be worth it, unless you are looking at definitely getting some apms that are capable of pushing a pair of BTL's. The electrical requirements can be costly as well.

Far as what sub?

and currently i have 3 batteries and an 200amp alternator that will change to 5 batteries and 250 amp alternator..

Anyone know how well that dynamat crap they sell at best buy works? Im tempted to get some to cut down on my trunk rattle, was gonna get some after swinging by the dealer to pick up my new brake light cause its missin a tab and every time my subs hit it gets totally dislodged

that's going to be quite a beast of a setup

chris i'm eyeing a DD3512. got a 6" aero as well. always wanted to own a DD driver. i wonder what it can with a big 'ol aero tuned high.

I'll be happy to contribute once I have my amp mounted, but for now can anyone tell me what this rectangle with the holes is for? (2002 Maxima SE non-Bose)



It's directly below the rear deck. The screw holes make it look like something's meant to be mounted there, but what? Was there ever a factory trunk-mounted CD changer?

I'm thinking about trying to mount my amp in that area, is that a good idea? It looks like the amp's larger than the opening so I won't be able to use the screw holes, but it seems like a nice out-of-the-way place.

I have just upgraded my system in my 2009 Nissan Maxima!!! I added one Jl Audio 12 W7 Sub with a 500/1 amp pushing it! I have a ton of pictures and I will add them once I get to the 15 post requirement

thats actually fiberglass i just painted it black for now because bare MDF kills me when the trim panels are done i want to wrap everything in black suede and smooth the port out some more..i rused alittle of it because a comp.(im in the process of tuning and breaking in the woofers)

You should easily break a 52 with that equipment. You need to make sure you seal that baffle from the rear of the car though. The long as s doors we have hate spl.
