Are line out convertors better?

I just finished installing a 4 channel amp and Infinity Kappa Components up front and Kappa 5.5's in the rear. I am using the stock non-bose head unit since I like the stealth look and am feeding the amp off the stock head unit. I used the spekaer level inputs and it sounds really good and clear to me. If I were to use line out convertors is the sound going to be any better? It would be easy for me to make the switch since I ran two 14guage 4 pair cables from the back of the headunit all the way to the amp for the amp's input. I could just add the convertors right next to the amp and use two short patch cables. Just wonder if it will make my sound any better?

I wouldn't expect them to sound better or worse.
