new tweeters

new tweeters

Hey guys has anyone changed out their tweeters in a 02 as yet ? If so what brand did you get and is the sound quality noticeable

I changed mine to diamond audio although now I got 4 of them and they sound pretty sweet. Just changing your tweets is a waste of money imo wait until you change your whole system then think about tweeters.

Yes, the tweets and mids need to be similar quality and have a matching crossover. Speaker placement can make a bigger difference than the actual speaker used.

duuuuh! I have everything aftermarket but never changed the tweets out. 4 kicker k-60. RFx 9300 HU, RF750X amp and pioneer 15" sub. Just need to update the tweets but not sure if they'll make any difference.

K-60 appears to have a tweet mounted in the mid. It is a coaxial speaker.
