help mounting subs

I driled them into the piece of cardboards that goes ocer the spare wheel well but they still slide all over the place. How did everoyne else do it? It's amd annoying because my ground keep gettin ripped out nad sometimes the trunk hinges hit one of my amps.

Before you install the sub in the box drill a hole through the bottom into the metal floor. Just be careful not to drill into the gas tank.

I'm actually in the process of replacing the cover for the spare tire, with about 1/2 sheet of wood. That way I will be able to secure the box and also mount amps, without worrying about hitting the gas tank and getting the benefit of having a strong floor.

I just put the grippy side of velcro on the bottom of my box, and it grips the carpet in the trunk fine. Mines hasn't slid since.

Oh I forgot, I made a custom floor for my trunk out of a regular wood sheet, to make it a flat surface. So I don't have the problem of my wheel cover sliding.
