Advice for my small setup

I have a 2000 Max Non-Bose. I bought my cousins old system for cheap. Its a Pioneer DEH-7400MP, Two 6 3/4 MB Quarts, a 280 4 channel crossfire amp, and a 12'' JL W0 sub. I never rode in his car so I have no idea how it sounded. How do I wire this to get the best sound possible. Should I replace the rear speakers as well? Should I use the amp to power the front two speakers and the sub then use the deck to power the rear speakers? Or should I buy a new amp to power just the sub? I'm not an expert in audio so don't flame me lol

i would amp the quarts and bridge channels 3+4 for the sub. JL wo dont need much power. You can also power the back speakers from your deck, that should be enough for fill in sound.

Cool. What happens to the stock tweets? Would the deck power this or the amp?

you shouldnt run your stock tweeters from your deck or an amp, too much power, that will fry them. you can either forget about tweeters or add some aftermarket ones.

Nice. I think I might upgrade to aftermarket ones then. Is the stock tweeter size 1'' ? Which brand do you recommend for under $50 a pair?
