is there any way to have my steering wheel controls fully functional after buying an aftermarket h/u without buying the apadter? i thought someone mentioned you can splice some wires. if not, where should i buy the adapter from?

 

From what I have read on this topic, there are wires that need to be spliced, but you have to get the PAC-SWI adapter from Crutchfield or some other mobile audio dealer.
