Bose with Infinity Subs... help please

Hey all,
Alright a few weeks ago i installed my 2 12 inch subs in my car. I kept the bose stereo system and all. The subs do work but they are not nearly as loud as they were in my old car. They dont sound like they are hitting as clean and efficiently as they were in my previous car. I check the gain settings and everything like that and cleaned up the sound a little but its still not working up to its potential. What could it be or what else do i need to do.

Thanks
-Tom
