Amplifier + dvc sub wiring

AMP = 100 x 2 rms or 250 x 1 rms. 2ohm stable
Sub = 750 rms - dvc 2 x 4ohm coils
1) Is there any way I can run the amp bridged to get 250 rms to the sub?
2) if I wire the sub in series to 8 ohms and run the amp bridged will the 250rms be cut in half?
3) Am I best off wiring one side of the amp to each coil to get the most power?

i take it the amp puts out 250 x 1 @ 2 ohms?

1) you can. wire the sub in parallel. the conect all the + to the + on the amp. connect all the - to the - on the amp.

not really sure about your other questions. but if you wire the sub in 8 ohms, you'll get less power out of your amp.

ok the amp puts out 250x 1 at 4 ohms, its not 1 ohm stable, if i wire the subs in parellel to the amp it will be going to low, just trying to see if theres any way around this

the amp is 2 ohm stable but that is stereo mode, its 4 ohm bridged and you can no get that impedence with 1 of that sub, best is to get a amp for each coil if your sub can take 750 rms. you can get a 2 and 8 ohm load out of that sub. and wiring in bridge 8 ohm modes is the same as 4 ohm stereo. subs impedence rises with wire attached to it so the impedence at the amp will be around 2.5 ohm, and during music is much higher, if you feel your amp can handle it then try to wire the sub in the 2 ohm mode. and yes you can only get 125 watts out of that amp at 8 ohm bridged or 4 ohm stereo
