Okay... I had hooked up my (major cheap-***)Kraco pre-amped bazooka to my rear speakers.

Today I went and got some cables and unhooked the bazooka from the speakers. And now... there's no sound from the bazooka. Checked the fuse, ground, power... all good. Plugged the left and right input from the bazooka to the rear left and right outputs from the Blaupunkt Houston HU.

Am I missing something here? What did I do wrong?

And also... I had a tough time thinking of a way to run the cable up to the headunit. I thought 12 ft would be long enough, but it isn't. It barely reaches up front. What's a good way to run from all the way from the HU to the trunk?

You said "unhooked the bazooka from the speakers. And now... there's no sound from the bazooka."

if it's not hooked up to anything...there will be no sound.

if you mean that you used the rca outputs on the head unit and hooked it up to the tube and now it doesn't work...well what outputs did you use?

Nevermind... I figured it out... did some digging around the internet. Technically, this is the first time hooking up my car stereo... live and learn, live and learn.

Common sense just isn't working right for me this week.
