Subwoofer location
Subwoofer location
Hello,
In reading many threads in this forum, I have noticed that no one uses the factory location for a subwoofer. I own a 2003 SE (non-bose) and I would like to install a 10" sub to provide enough bass to complement front components (Kappas) w/o it rocking the car next to me.
Is a basslink a better choice than a 10" sub with a dedicated amp installed in the factory location (rear deck)?
Why aren't most people using the factory sub location?
Thanks for any feedback.
Mike

the basslink is nice i have one, but i wouldnt get one again if ur used to large amounts of tight/deep bass without clipping, my basslink pounds really nice but on rare occassions it does shut off, but that might be because im a bass junkie and had 1500 watts worth of ear splitting bass in my 240sx with 3 subs lol
