Hey nismo, I hope the box was built according to the specs of that sub. My friend had them in a store bought box and it sounded ok but now he has a custom bandpass box built and there is an incredible difference.

the box i have for it is 1.5 cubic feet, which is what the specs ask for, so i shoud be fine. the bandpass box just makes it more boomy and it gives it an overall lack of frequency reponse wish is okay for bass, but i want my sub to blend in with the bose, so im gonna go with my own frequencies on the amps for the low pass filter, and prefer my system this way. by the way, what kind of amp does ur friend have pushing this sub e_is_chillin? damn psx, i dont like the sony's so many of my friends have had them and got rid of them so fast... hopefully next time u'll make a better choice, but if they sound good thats cool too

He's using a rockford fosgate I believe its 1ch, 1000watts I thought that was why you went with the premier, for the bass

lol yeah i want it for bass, but i dont want it boomy in a small frequency range, i want it to be musical as well. im using two amps to power mine and im not running more than 500 rms 1000 peak.
i wont have install pics, i'll just have pics of the final product, which is not professional or very pretty for that matter lol. im running 2 sherwood a100x2 amps to them, they are 100x2 rms amps, run in bridged mode giving 250 rms to each coil it sounds great and i haven't even set the gains yet. im gonna break it in for 2 weeks before gettin on it

yeah i never really expected it either. i saw it and was like wow lol
their old subs weren't too bad with the diamondplate, they took alot more than the rated power and they sounded damn good for the price, i think i got those for like $150 in a box with 2 tens. even this sub was pretty decently priced. can't really beat it for $115thanx again
