Do you use the bass ****? I used to have my bass adjustment on my hu to full and just use my bass **** to adjsut the subs volume but now I think I'm going to disconnect my bass **** adn use the hu to control the subs.

 

i have to use mine....with the bass **** disconnected, my amp immediately runs on full load, and believe me, i do NOT want that. i usually run mine at 40%, which is a clean and moderate amount of bass. plus, i like the instant access. i would assume that with HU bass, you have to press some buttons just to get to that part of the menu. cops don't like bass, turn it and bam, no bass so you dont' get your A$$ in trouble.

 

I use mine sometimes, not that I have soooo much bass, but just that the bass levels vary on different kinds of music, i.e. Creed, Nickelback, White Zombie are much more bass heavy than others.
