adding cd changer to bose system...possible?

I have a 2000 max with the bose system. Is it possible to add a cd changer to the original HU? I know, for example, that if you bye a kenwood HU, you need to use a kenwood changer. does the same type rule apply to the factory HU?
thanks

Yep ..very possible. Just check for "Nissan cd changer" on ebay, there's always a few there (USA Spec ones I believe. You can also check Courtesy Nissan, I think they ahve a sale on right now. The Bose head unit is actually a Clarion, but with a few quirks that precludes a savvy guy running out and sticking an off-the-shelf Clarion. Nissan wants you to keep it in the family

Good luck, I've benn sitting on the fence, waiting for a great deal on one for my '95. No luck so far.
