Quality of U.S. Acoustics?

I'm considering getting a U.S. acoustics USB-2150 to drive my 10in subs... Does anyone know the quality of U.S. Acoustics or heard anything good/bad about them?

US Acoustics are actually not a bad brand at all. While not as good as my Tube Driver amps, everyone I've heard that owns them loves them. I'm actually planning on getting one for my gf's Maxima. Power Acoustics on the other hand are a swap meet brand.....

Yea simple and to the point... why not explain why its crap ? It si because it doesnt say JL, Alpine etc on it ?

From first hand experience these amps are good clean sounding amps. I will compare these with JBL and such. For the price you will not go wrong. I used to have 2150 and 4050..... very very decent amps.

these amps are great hey are made by USamps one of the best manufacturer's of amplifiers in the 80's either they are made by them or changed their name to usacousitcs, whatever teh case is, they are great amps. US amps made some pretty amazing amps in the late 80's early 90's they had some monsters that could run down to .25 ohms

I first thought you were talking about Boston Acoustics, I couldn't figure out why you were calling them crap. Whoops.

USacoustics is a quality brand for amps... never heard their subwoofers. I've owned a USacoustics 1000D and it was a very nice amp. They are not made by USamps though..

I have the cheapeset one the 400 D I think running one 12 inch Infinity reference (great budget setup) and I love it. I wouldn't consider anythign else unless I had a lot more cash to burn. Very simplistic while still looks great and overall sounded 10x better then a Lanzar amp I had.
