1-Ohm configuration

I have a HiFonics Brutus BX1000D and a single ED12a.22. Since it's DVC and a single sub it has to be a 1-ohm config, how does this look for the setup..

Only use 1 set of speaker terminals from amp > 1 wire to the terminal cup on sub > 2 wires from here: 1 set of postive and negative to each voice coil. Do I have to somehow connect both speaker terminals from the amp?

o really? we'll see. some hifonics amps are made to run down to .5 ohms. if im not mistaken this one is stable to 1 ohm.

that looks right. is the sub a 2ohm dvc? or a 4 ohm dvc? if its a 2 ohm dvc you would need to wire the subwoofer in series IE: one wire from the positive of one coil to the negative of the other coil, and the remaining open posts go to the terminal cup pos to pos and neg to neg, if its 4 ohm u can wire it parallel which is the way you have it set in the pic.

thanks for the help nismo, the other boards had people that tried to explain it but they sound like 15 year olds and when I ask them more they get mad. I understood what you're saying perfectly, thanks!

But it is indeed a 2-ohm sub, but Elemental Designs wiring diagrams says I should wire it in parallel (2nd from the top).
