i cureently have a pinoneer with 35 X4.
thinking getting a 4 channel amp( Rockford Fosgate Punch 200a4 ) but only rated at 25x 4.
so is that mean the amp in my radio is better than the fosgate??
i found a place to buy the fosgate for only $100. is that a good deal????

For some strange reason Fosgate underates their amps. I have a Punch 240 x4. It's rated 30 x 4. It was measured at 75 x 4. That blew me away, it was more than double what they said. Trust me, Punch is a GREAT amp. I also have a Punch 200xi on my JL 15w6. A perfect match. It's a great deal on the amp. But keep in mind, my amps are older than the one you are talking about. I know they are just as good, but you never know. Good luck, either way, you won't be mad.
Amps
Rockford Fosgate, MTX and many other manufactuers rate the power at 12 volts. Your car usually feeds 14.4 Volts and so you will get much higher wattage than listed. Most American made amps are rated and tested individually and tell underrated the individual amp is. As for power differences: The RMS power from your head unit is not that great. I believe you have 35X4 peak watts but are only getting 14X4 RMS. I have a pioneer unit in my other car and it feeds 22X4 RMS which is alright. In my Maxima, I have a 50X4 RMS amp that makes great sound out of my power hungry speakers. My head unit requires an amp so I can't tell you if I've heard a difference with an external amp or not. I did hook up my Kicker 75X2 amp to my front speakers, they sounded great.
Most better amplifiers will provide years of trouble free service. I have owned phoenix gold, precision power, pioneer, and clarion. As a rule the american made amps will provide more power. Due to a difference in how output is measured, the foreign amps will indicate a higher output than the US made models. The best one of the previous amplifiers that I have used, is the phoenix gold. Their amps sound great and put out tons of power.
