Amps and wattages

Ok, I have a Pioneer DEH-1500 Cd Player, that pushes 50Wx4. I bought a pair of Pioneer TS-G1047 4" 2-way speakers for the front, 100W max on these. Also, a pair of Pioneer TS-A6960R 3-way 6x9s for the back, 220W max. Ok, my first question is can the front speakers take 100W max each, or 50W each, same with the back; 220W each or 110W each. Then I want to know, if I amp up these speakers, probably just the back ones, do I need an under 440W, under 220W, exactly 440W, exactly 220W, over 440W, or over 220W amp? Any help would be appreciated...Thanks.

you're going have to look at each speaker's rms wattage handling first. the pioneer 4" can take 100 watts max, but realistically can handle about 30 watts continuously. same thing goes for the 6x9s, but their continuous power handing should be higher than your fronts. then get an amp accordingly.

Pioneer TS-G1047 take about 20rms or about 40watts on good amp( these speakers are overated in watts)

Pioneer TS-A6960R will take 60rms, about 120 watts on good amp

i suggest you get a 4 cahnnel 300 watt amp.

(not the best choice of speakers, but if you are on the budget it will do)
