Sound dampening for CD changer in trunk?
Does anyone have any suggestions about preventing my CD changer in the trunk from skipping when the sub hits hard on higher volumes?
Basically, whenever I turn my volume up to 20 (out of 30) or higher, and a song with some nice bass beats is playing, my changer will skip. I then have to lower the sub level, or lower the volume. Kinda annoying, and not what I would call "full listening pleasure".
I may resort to moving the cd changer into the cabin, but that's an extreme last resort.
Thanks in advance...

when i mounted my stock cd changer in the stock location in the trunk, i had major skipping and i didnt even hav a system!! so i took it out after hours of bein ****ed tryin to figure out how to not make it skip and i ended up putting it in my glove box, no more skipping, even with my sub in now. i'd suggest moving it around in the trunk, and if that doesnt help run it to the glove box or under a seat.
