Help tuning Kappas CS, Basslink, Amp

I am looking for help on best settings for a new system I just finished installing. The system is a RF 401S 2 channel amp driving Infinity Kappas components 6.05S and an Infinity Basslink.

How long would it normally take to burn-in speaker and basslink?
What settings on the basslink have you found to work best?

The amp has a LP, AP, HP filter. I currently have it set for HP to cutoff frequencies below 120Hz. At the same time, I move the crossover setting on the basslink all the way to the right to handle up to 120Hz frequencies. There is little bass coming from the components as a result. Is there a better setting (technically speaking) ?

The components crossover have a jumper that allows you to use either a 'contour' or 'flat' response. The contour response is supposed to enhance highs and lows and minimize the mid-range. Having the amp set to cutoff at 120Hz, I am not sure how this contour would help. I did not notice much of a difference when setting the jumper. Is there a better setting for the components considering the amp and basslink settings?

Any help based on your experience playing with these settings would be appreciated.

Mike
