how do you wire dual voice coil subs?
I just purchased two pioneer subs, however i don't know how to wire dual voice coil subs. Can someone help me? I'm assuming each voice coil is 4 ohms and i want to wire it in parrallel. is there a way to get 8 ohms out of each sub so that when i wire it in parrallel it is 4ohms?

The JL Audio site has lots of useful info. What type of amp are you using? Make sure the amp is stable at the ohm load you are going to setup. If you hookup 2 subs, each with 2 voice coils, you are going to end up with 1 ohm. That is going to put a lot of pressure on the amp and it will run really hot. Make sure it can handle it.
