Microvision 7" LCD?

does anyone know where to get the microvision 7" LCD that fits perfect in the 4th gens dash? and how much? thanx

it's a very tight fit... you have to cram it in there.



check out the distorted edges... i had to apply alot of force... and this is without trimming or doing any other modification except removing the back panel of the LCD and not being able use one of the screws on the metal brackets connected to the dash piece.

thanks for the pics. good to actually see it. looks like ill do a little cramming, but it looks very nice. i like your wood dash too.

btw, i noticed you live in san jose. how do you like it there? i live in SO CAL and will be going to san jose state university in about a year and a half and i cant wait. very nice campus.

haha cool, i'm in my 2nd year at SJSU right now. We don't start Spring semester till the 28th (gotta love SJSU's extended holidays hehe). I'm attempting EE... i need to be more diligent tho. I hope to see you around on campus then!

Yo Todd you live in Socal so do i. If you ever in L.A. i know a spot in downtown where i got my farenheit 7" screen for $175.00 out the door and it fits very nicely. I just used a hot glue gun and got that baby in there with no problems everyone that see's my screen thinks its factory. Its a very nice screen picture is great too im buying 2 more for my headrests.

I forgot the name of the place but im going there today to pickup 2 more lcds for my head rest ill get a business card and ill let you know. Its fit very nice in the dash once i figure out how to post pictures ill let you see mine.

Which Farenheit Screens are you guys talking about . I can also get farenheit if you are interested.

using a glue gun on your install unless u use the correct silicone and not glue is a bad idea!!! My screen was put on that way the first time and as soon as it got hot enough outside, it slid around and shifted, not good! I have made the instructions for the screen install but have not posted them yet, i've been reall busy.
