microvision 2 pioneer
I have finished putting together my dash for my 98 maxima with the microvision 7" and a pioneer DVH-5000MP. However, how do you connect the single a/v wire from the tv to the head unit. i am extremely confused, do i have to purchase a different part? also, the wires on the microvision are fairly short, i was wondering how you would go about putting a switch on it and be able to mount the switch somewhere farther then 5 inches. thanks in advance

As for the A/v cable there is only one. That would be the yellow one which connects directly into your Pioneer headunit. There are no video cables needed as the sound comes from the radio.
For the wiring...just extend the wires.

hmm
yes, the microvision has only one a/v wire out..but unfortunately the head unit has 2 input in addition to a seperate pin connection for the video. there is no exact place to put the yellow wire other than a 2 outputs that say L and R..or a female pin connection.

The yellow wire from the back of the screen is the video input you need to hook up the yellow rca lead from the video output on your huif it dosent reach you can buy short extender cables at radio shack. For the head unit you should have aux inputs, read the manual if you dont chances are you have a different pioneer model then what you said. (in which case you may need an adaptor like the pioneer cdrb-10 or something along those lines which will allow you to plug the audio cables from the source in to your headunit). (wish i had my screen)
