My friend is buying a 96 GLE Max and the only bad thing about it is that the BOSE deck wont work. It wont even turn on. Doesn anyone have any suggestions of what it could be? He's buying it from someone whos just sellling it and not from a dealership. He's also getting a hell of a deal so the Bose not working isnt that big of a deal but it will be when he has to fix it or get something new. So if anyone had this problem or knows what it could be, then please give me some input on this. I told him I would post the question on the forum since a lot of you guys know a lot. Thanks

Check all the fuses that are inside the car and under the hood one of them may be blown. If the fuses are ok take out the deck and get it checked. Also check all the connections the previous owner may have been playing around with it. If all the connections are fine and the fuses are good than the deck is busted you could get it loocked at or just get one from another max.
