Does anyone have a whip style antenna in the same place as the OEM, a roof mounted antenna, or any other ideas for replacing the OEM antenna. The teeth on the mast in mine slip and cause this awful noise periodically while driving. I have it in the up position with the power disconncted. I'm looking for a permanent fix though. Any ideas.
