I have 50 Watt RMS speakers that i want to install in my car. When i put in the amp i was wondering if i used a 40 watt RMS amp. how would that affect the sound compared to using a 50 RMS amp. Both would be at 4 ohms.

it would be fine, as long as you use a quality amp, u shuld have no problems
