I have heard that the Viper 790xv came with a crappy remote and the 791xv came with a better one. My friend said the old ones just die. Which remote comes with the Viper 690xv? I dont see any 691xvs so do they still have the bad remotes? What about the Clifford Matrix remotes? Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

 

never heard of any bad remotes. the 690 comes with the old style thats gray and pearl white. the new ones are blue. they all eat batteries fast so maybe your friend needs a new battery. lol

 

I had a problem with my remote (790) going crazy, but they're replacable under warranty, so I can't somplain.
