Which Amp would you choose?

Which amp would you choose?

PG OCTANE-R 5.0:4
80W x 4 @ 4ohms
ebay: $158

US Acoustics USX-4085
85W x 4 @ 4ohms @12.9v
sounddomain: $174

These amps would power comps up front and possibly coax's in back or bridged to sub. Comps are 80W rms 4ohm speakers

thanks

those are some good prices. Perhaps it would be cheaper to just buy 2 two-channel amps instead of one 4 channel.

Do you think the 100w x 2 would be too much if the speakers are rated 80w rms?

Don't buy a PG off of eBay. No warranty. Sounddomain is an excellent company. I think either amp will sound good, but I don't know about their features, etc.

I will just give my opinion on US Acoustics but I love them for the price. I am looking to trade my stupid Lanzar which is powering the front speakers for US Acoustics becuase I love the 400 watt amp for my sub. I also love the fact that compared to some other manufacturers that are relatively cheap US acoustics has made the amps look classy instead of putting stupid clear windows or ugly bright colors and lights. I was actualy looking to get that amp but they had run out at the Sounddomain when I ordered my stereo.
