PAC OEM-1 Bose Interface Help

I'm installing an aftermarket Alpine CDA-9807 HU but I'm keeping the BOSE speakers and amp. The "B" side of the OEM-1 module makes sense...its a plug and play to the factory BOSE harness that I took out of the back of the BOSE head unit.

However, the "A" side of the OEM-1 (RAD-UNV) is an 18 pin connector that you have to splice to the new aftermarket stereo harness. What's confusing is that there is a "LEFT FRONT LOWER LEVEL (+)" as well as a "LEFT FRONT HIGH LEVEL (+)" on the RAD-UNV cable. Since its an aftermarket HU which I assume has high level outputs, would I splice the high level wires from the RAD-UNV to the aftermarket HU speaker wires? Or use the low level wires?

Is the difference between the HIGH LEVEL and LOW LEVEL inputs as simple as the difference between my powered CDA-9807 outputs, and say, the un-powered outputs of the CDA-7995 which doesn't have an internal amp? If so, then I guess that makes sense...the RAD-UNV give you the option to install either a powered or an unpowered aftermarket HU. But if that's not it...then I'm confused.

Thanks for any advice.
