I just ordered Cdt audio CL-61a components (front) and CL-6x two ways (rear) now i have two questions for youse guys
1 What are some good amps to run the CL-61as?
2 Do I have a problem if I stay up all night and buy speakers at 4 am?

1. How much power do they recommend? Any amp with the right features and power will do.
2. It depends what time you have to wake up.

1. I just ordered those also. They are coming Wednesday. I also would like to know a good amp to use for running the fronts.

2. Yes.

i ordered mine at about that same time a month ago. i heard us acoustics amps are good for them and cheap. a jbl 80.2 is fine. any amp that puts out 50 watts rms x2 to 100x2 is perffect imo. and dont buy any crappy amps such as legacy.

http://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/us_acoustics.html the small us acoustics amp there is good and cheap.

or this..http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/132

just some examples.

I bought 2 20 foot packs of 18 gauge wire. What wire connecters should I get?

I always try to recommend Phoenix Gold amps. I have had no problems in the past with them and I think Tony is running them in his car, too. In fact, I am using an amp that is very old in my car and it sounds fantastic. You can get a new PG Octane 8.0:4 for around $300. For a little less money, I am sure your system would still sound great with an Octane 5.0:4. You probably could do well with an Alpine 4-channel or Eclipse, JL, etc. There are so many good companies out there.
