Help!! In Dash Tv/cd Player Together??

Ok, check it out. This is my question, I'm about to buy a 7" LCD screen (it will take up the who cd/am/fm raido unit) to go in my dash from one of the group deals, but I need a DVD player. A friend of mine recommed I buy a PS2 which of course has both DVD/CD/VIDEO GAMEZ (is this possible?). But my question is, will the PS2 replace my cd player??(well it play burned cds??) Or can I hook up my CD player serprately with my PS2 to my amp and the speakers?? I want to be able to switch from video games/dvds to radio/cds on my pionner head unit. What would I need? Oh and how would I hook up my PS2 to my car, since it has a plug in outlet??? Oh and any one post pics of there in dash tv's????

Thanks a million.

I'd get a DVD and/or CD player for the lower DIN because placing the PS2 in an accessible spot for hte driver is difficult. Plus you wouldn't have AM/FM radio if you had just the PS2 and a screen.

Like Conrad said the ps2 will play cd/dvd/vg, but then you will be left without a am/fm radio

But my question is can I still keep my cd player, and the ps2, but have a like a splitter switch or something, like I switch it one way and my pioneer head unit can be heard and used, and then i switch it back the other way, and the ps2 will be heard/used???

you need a hu with a aux input or a fm modulator for that.

I would recommend getting a power inverter to hook the PS2 up to the car.
