Amp/ Sub/ Box questions... from an audio newbie

I am looking to buy a US Acoustics amp that puts out 160watts X 2 channels at 4 ohms RMS to power my 2 10" Fosgate punch Z subs(they are rated at 150watts RMS) will this damage the subs over time?

Also they are in 2 sealed Q-logic boxes (Volume= 0.65 cu. Ft) that are smaller than the recomended volume (recomended volume = 0.75 cu. ft) will this damage the subs when I hook up the 160watt amp to them or does box size just affect SPL/sound quality?

Crutchfield recomends a 1/2 farad capacitor for the US Acoustics amp, Can I get a 1 farad capacitor and run 2 amps off of it (the amps total ~500watts RMS)?

Thanks in advance,
-Rob

You won't be continuously using all 160 watts going into them all the time. You should be alright . As for the box, I don't think it'll damage your subs...it'll just affect your spl/sq like you said. I'm running two RF amps, one with 470 watts and one 190 watts with no caps and everything works ok (i should get one though )

I used to have a pair of Punch Z 10s. I upgraded to the new HEs and they pound so much harder.

i have the qlogic .65cuft per sub box and its decent. im upgrading my system though. the bass will not get as deep in a box like that. and spl will drop too.
