I have the PAC-SWIX steering wheel control interface. I need to extend the wire for the infared emitter. Is it a simple two-conducter wire that I can easily add onto? Before I cut the wire and found out the hard way, I thought I would ask.

i cant help you there but when you finish installing the pac swi-x can you do a writeup of some kind? i have mine but im afraid to mess with it because ive never installed one before.

 

I installed it quite some time ago. I can't really remember the details. I know I had to call the number on the instructions for help. The guy that answered the phone was kinda impatient with me but I didn't let him off the hook and pressed him until I knew what I had to do.
