Some A- holes ripped off my diamond corners a few weeks ago. I have an aftermarket alarm and before this incident I would press the lock or unlock button and the headlights and fogs would flash on and off. Now it doesnt do that. Whats the problem? Could there be fuses for this alarm? What could I do to fix this problem?

do your parking lights work when you turn them on from the blinker arm? if not, your parking light fuse in the car is blown. if so, your parking light wire from the alarm brain is blown. i don't know what alarm you have installed - i'm familiar with dei, and the parking light wire is white. hope that helps...

 

Everything works normally except the flashing that I described. I'm not an expert on electrical stuff and alarms but I looked underneath my dash and I see two fuses, could this be something to do with the alarm? My alarm pad says checkmate so I believe thats the name of the alarm.

 

i kinda have the same problem...when i unlock the doors the parking lights don't flash. Are they even supposed to flash?

 

I found the problem. It was a blown fuse! Replaced it and so everything is fine now.

Did you type that in right? They only flash when you lock your doors.
