7" Screens in 5th gen Headrest...

we posted this already on the 5th gen forum, but figure the audio forum might like to know as well. we put 7" screens in our headrests. since 5th gens don't fit 7", i went ahead and got 4th gen headrests and swapped the pole inserts. playero got 89 stanza headrests and had the pole inserts welded so they lined up. his mother made the headrest covers so that the cloth would match, so i did the install (even trade)...and here are the pics.

pics located here - link

and playero's cardomain located here - link

hope youall like the pics. it wasn't that hard of a job, but i'm real proud of the work. FYI, the tv's are 7" icon screens (MT-7050) with headphone connections, 5 viewing modes, inverse modes, remote, etc..... the quality is VERY good, as noticed. i'm loving them. as i've been...they're...."gangsta"

What exactly is holding the screen to the headrest? Pressure fitting? Brackets?

because playero had a metal bracket inside his headrest, he was able to drill his on. mine, on the other hand, is nothing but headrest material, so i put the frame first, then put the cloth on top, then i made an X cut and put the screen in, with the cloth sandwiched in between. this is holding everything in place.the screen snaps onto the frame, so nothing is moving.
