How do you bypass e-brake safety system for indash DVD

Need to know how to bypass the e-brake safety wire to get my dvd player to play while driving. I think I can just ground the wire but not to sure. I know a lot of you have these players, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i know the alpines require you to do a set sequence which you can buy adaptors now that get rid of it, but vsokolov is right, most of the time its just grounding the wire.

be careful though, you can get in a lot of trouble for this sort of thing...
