Excessive Voltage? Blowing Fuses, in JBL BP.1200

I have a JBL BP.1200 amp. And as soon as I connect the remote turn on wire, the red light lights up for a couple seconds then the fuses blow. I have checked my ground and power. On the owner manual it says it is due to excessive voltage in the B+ terminal. I am out of idea. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

have you used a voltmeter to test your voltage? what size wire and what amperage fuses did you use? also where did you mount the fuse?

Disconnect all your speaker's, disconnect your RCA cables. try it again..if it blows, its your amp most likely. Bench test it at an audio shop.

It's not excessive voltage. Excess voltage won't blow fuses unless you go above the max rating, and you won't do that and still have anything else in the car work. Sounds like a shorted power or speaker wire, or a short internally. Possibly in the power supply.
