My speakers keep popping when I press on my brakes or sometimes by themselves. I've tapped up the speaker connections and can't find the source of the short. Could it be the amp?

 

its a loose connection somewhere most likely, if you sure up ALL of the speaker wires in the box, or to the speakers and from the headunit as well as the rca's/high level input/ power ground and remote wires, you should find the answer to ur problem
