How do you adjust the sony amps?

What do all these dials do on the back of the sony amp(404)? Which adjustament should i be worried about for optimized sound?

Tell me what switches and dials you have and I can help you decifer what they do and what they are for.....

I dont' know off hand as I'm not familiar with that amplifier....
