just installed a pioneer hu and need help

i just installed a pioneer 6400 on my 03max and my "trip" button does not work is there any way to get it working besides buying the swix??

you have to ground the brown/white wire from the old harness. this is all hearsay because i have not done it yet.

yes u have to ground the brown/white wire...then it will work normally
